History in the making....

We are undertaking one of the largest self-build projects in the East of England.

Over the last few years, we have been constructing a new ‘ship of the Fens’, a timber-framed ‘Ark’, providing a Christian centre, which will offer a meeting place for all people, a focus for encountering God and a beacon of hope and support for those who need it.

  • Installation and commissioning of boilers and ancillary work
  • Main car park and access roads except for final surface dressing on aisles and access roads. This will be laid in the near future.
  • Footway from village to entrance and main entrance.
  • Footpath around the building
  • Service provision
  • Rendering to outside of building.
  • Courtyard paving.
  • Floor screed
  • Under floor heating pipework
  • Ducting and cabling for security, fire safety, and audio systems within building
  • Ducting and cabling for a major portion of the electrics
  • Electrical switchboard fitting and electrical connections and testing as appropriate
  • Auditorium, vestry, and Junior Church rooms
  • Septic tank work.

Ongoing work

  • Plasterboard, plastering, tiling, and carpeting to various areas
  • Outstanding cabling work to various rooms
  • Fitting of outstanding lights
  • Toilet and kitchen works to be completed
